I am fairly new to the world of painting, although I have had an interest in painting since I was a kid. My brother and I would wake up in the morning and watch Bob Ross on PBS when the morning cartoons were over. As I grew into adulthood I chose teaching as a profession, but was always looking for an opportunity to take a chance and paint something. almost nine years ago my wife and I found out we were going to have triplet daughters. This was the perfect opportunity to take a chance. I wanted to do something special for their nursery. For the next two weeks I locked myself in what would be their nursery and created my first mural. It was nothing spectacular, but it fueled a fire that had always been burning somewhere beneath the surface. Needless to say, family members were lining up to have me do something at their house. These jobs allowed me to "play". |

Over the last eight years I have done numerous murals and mountable murals, painted loads of furniture pieces, yard decorations, and even done some canvas work. Each project has presented new and challenging experiences. I learn something new on every project I do and that is what drives me as an artist. It makes me want to do more, to the point where that's all I want to do. I am now at a crossroad in life were I would like to follow my passion and paint full time. Unfortunately, having five chilldren, yes we added two more, the need for job security and a consistent paycheck is a reality. Alas, there is a solution. I have been tinkering with many ideas over the last five years, which allows me to offer some unique products to my clients. I do the traditional painting, murals, decorative painting, and hand painted furniture, but also offer some really cool nontraditional products as well. I offer custom hand painted cut- outs, some yard decor for the various holidaysand lately, photography backdrops, and lately I've been tinkering with my favorite toy, the airbrush, to create some really unique effects in rooms. As a self taught artist, I have learned the value of hard work, determination, and perseverance. I will use these qualities to see your ideas become a reality.
